Bristol RELH LWT369D at Southampton H&D depot
West Yorkshire initially purchased the 'express' version of the Bristol RELH/ECW, with the bus type destination display, and power operated doors. The company participated in some pooled express services that crossed the Pennines, which might be termed 'middle-distance', so such vehicles were probably well suited to the work. A private hire to Southampton would be rather a different matter, however, but this would seem to have been the reason for this sighting in the H&D depot.
Rarely seen in Southampton, and a part of the world that I have not visited very often – certainly, not while there were many interesting buses around!
