Bristol FS AGM695B at Hamilton bus station
Seen at Hamilton Bus Station in August 1976, Central purchased some 60 seat FS after having already bought the front entrance version of the F-Series in both of the then available lengths.
Bristol FSF DGM430 at Motherwell depot
Motherwell depot, August 1976.
The FSF was a relatively rare variant of the Lodekka, and Central was the only Scottish company to purchase them. Some did work for other SBG subsidiaries at the end of their working lives.
Covering an area to the south of Glasgow, and the north bank of the Clyde west of Glasgow, Central’s operating area was relatively small, but densely populated.
