Bristol RELH OAX2F near Victoria Coach Station London
Red & White's 1968 batch of Bristol RELH6L/ECW coaches had already started to be downgraded to dual purpose status by the time National Welsh was formed in 1978. Here, the former RC268 is seen with route branding for a limited stop service on its home territory in South Wales, but near to one of its former haunts - Victoria Coach station in London.
National Welsh was the new name for the combined Red & White and Western Welsh fleets, introduced in April 1978. The company had a turbulent history, particularly post-deregulation in 1986, and succumbed to bankruptcy in 1992.
